Karen Griffith of Farmers’ Wives basketry has created this year’s beautiful Starved Rock basket, “Springtime at Starved Rock.”

It has a 6 by 15 slotted base with openings for two handles. The finished basket measures 18 inches long, 7 inches wide and 10.5 inches high. It uses 5/8 inch flat and flat oval, ½ inch flat, #3 round in black and natural, and ½ inch black reed.

It features a colored reed flower with a bead on the front and swing handles.
