Karen comes from the very northeast corner of Indiana where she teaches weekly weaving classes and works from her shop Farmer’s Wives Basketry.  She has taught at state events in Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Illinois, West Virginia, and Missouri as well as at various guild sponsored events.  Now retired from teaching in the public schools of Indiana, Karen enjoys reading, spending time with grandchildren and weaving.
