Marla’s love of  nature led her on a path towards weaving on gourds which she grows on her farm in rural Indiana.  Combining a love of sculpture as well as contemporary and traditional work, her work is constantly changing with the uniqueness of the fiber she finds and the shape of the item on which she is weaving.  In addition to teaching at retreats, conferences and workshops around the country, Marla’s can be seen at several art museums and galleries in the Midwest as well as outdoor art shows.  For more information visit www.serindipitygourdart.com.
