This elegant basket begins with a thick round wooden base. The basket teaches discipline in shaping. It is rimmed with waxed linen thread. A quick drying wash is applied to the basket. Embellishments include cube and triangle beads sewn on invisibly. Many colors of wash and beads will be available. Learn to mix and apply a wash. You may need to finish beading at home. (Bring a small hair dryer for drying!) |
