| Description: |
Weave your choice of these elegant
baskets with Hamburg cane on a base of cherry, black walnut or oak. The special
base holds the many closely spaced spokes in place for you, allowing the basket
to look mold woven. Learn to plot and execute twill sections into the basket in
a geometric design – Aurora Borealis – or a seemingly random technique –
Echoes. Optional bead embellishment incorporated into the twill design will be
demonstrated, but not finished in class. Receive two bags of Miyuki triangle or
cube beads. Needle nosed pliers and regular tools needed. |
