This round-based basket features a double wall construction with separate walls, rounded tops and bases. The outer wall features marbled wooden strips. Techniques include twining, plain weave, 3-rod waling, and shaping. Class will include a brief lecture and demo on marbling. |

Learn the ins and outs of caning as you cane your own hardwood footstool. Choose from cherry or oak when you sign up. The caned area is square, and we will discuss how to adapt this to various shaped chairs. Bring bucket, clothespins, and awl. |
