You'll love making this black ash bowl with its striking pattern reminiscent of snow trails on the mountain! Spokes of two different widths are used to weave the double bottom. On the sides, narrow rows of black ash are woven and cross-stitched to produce a vertical striped pattern on the narrow spokes. Completed with a sweetgrass and ash rim. |

You can almost smell the balsam when you weave this basket! This miniature Adirondack backpack is woven with black ash spokes and red cedar bark weavers. Students will learn how to cut spokes to help produce the traditional shape. Basket is completed with a black ash handle and lashing, elm bark rims, and leather straps with metal buckle. |
