Painted paper will be used to make a square block bead, diamond-shaped bead, and triangular bead with rectangular faces. Instructions will be provided, and necessary findings will be available should anyone wish to turn their beads into attractive dangle earrings. (Round nose pliers necessary for earring making) |

| Description: |
In this class each student can choose his/her own focus: learning twill, learning twill theory, learning more complicated twills, learning to design twills; and withing the confines of the twill weave, learning shaping. Materials for 2 baskets (but only one handle) are provided so that there will be adequate supplies for all interests. |

While weaving this basket we will focus on shaping--the weaving and manipulation techniques that facilitate shaping, as well as the characteristics of materials selected as they affect shaping.
