Spend an interesting evening folding paper and playing cards to make 3 distintive kinds of boxes. The first box is folded with basket print paper to hold the other two boxes. The second box is made with playing cards, while the third is a lidded box made with origami paper folded in units that slide into each other. |

This unusual basket is woven with smoked and natural reed as well as cane in a ridge weave pattern. There are two borders - the first is worked with the original smoked reed spokes in a rolled border pattern. The second is woven with natural spokes around both the first border and the top band of the three-rod wale to form an arrow pattern. |
