Tressa Sularz: Hanging Cane Basket

Description: This attractive basket is woven continuously with cane. A metal button is attached to the cane for embellishment as it weaves across the front center of the basket. Loops are formed on the upper sides of the basket, and reed is added on the base to keep the cordage in place. A bead is added on either side for decoration. This basket may be used to hold a variety of things and is attractive hanging on the wall. Tressa Sularz: Segmented Twill Bowl

Description: This bowl offers a variety of applications with round and flat oval reed. The basket has a plaited woven base using a combination of natural flat oval reed with the addition of strategically placed dyed round reed. The basket is woven with narrow flat oval reed in a 1/2 twill. Three rod wale is woven with dyed round reed as an accent and background over which the spokes are carried creating an aesthetically appealing appearance. The rim is finished with an attractive fold and wrap border. Tressa Sularz: Tortoise Cane Cathead

Description: This graceful basket is woven with hand-dyed cane creating a beautiful tortoise-like look. A traditioinal cathead shape is woven into the basket, and the basket is finished with a nicely refined rim. Emphasis is placed on shaping, and perfecting the cathead shape. This is a stunning and an enjoyable basket to make!
