Christmas Spritz Cookies |

Holiday 1998 Basket Exchange and Potluck |
Ingredients:
- 2 C shortening
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsps. vanilla
- 1 1/2 C sugar
- 4 1/2 C flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cream shortening, adding sugar gradually.
- Add eggs, unbeaten, dry ingredients, and vanilla. Mix well.
- If desired, divide dough and tint with food colorings.
- Fill cookie press and form cookies on cookie sheet.
- Sprinkle with colored sugar, if desired.
- Bake on insulated cookie sheets, 8 minutes at 350.
