features an inner basket woven first
with end handles, then this inside
basket is used as a mold to form the
outer basket. Black walnut spokes
and weavers create the stunning design.
Add custom-made black walnut feet,
widened at the base for extra stability
and sturdiness. Rim in a unique
“wrapped” technique or use standard
lashing. Lashing is time intensive
– may require additional time to
complete after class.
