Spring Fling 2008 Cliffbreakers Convention Center 700 West Riverside Blvd., Rockford, Illinois

We have a great line-up to our Spring Weave 2008 event! The event will be hosted at the Cliffbreakers Riverside Resort and Convention Center in Rockford Illinois. Cliffbreakers is situated six stories above the river and offers an award winning restaurant, cocktail lounge, martini lounge, heated indoor swimming pool, fitness center, in-room refrigerator, microwave, & coffee maker. Our weaving room overlooks the beautiful Rock River! The resort is located within walking distance to movie theaters, parks and shopping and Rockford’s River District is close by offering entertainment and cultural activities. On Friday, the doors will open at 4:30 p.m. Vendors will be open for your shopping pleasure between 4:30 - 9 p.m. Classes are planned from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, the doors will open at 7:30 a.m. and a continental  breakfast will be provided. Vendors will be open at 7:30 so you can start your shopping early.  Depending on class selection weaving will begin at either 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. We will break for lunch at noon.  Lunch consists of: Turkey, bacon, & tomato sandwich on a croissant, salad, seasonal fresh fruit, beverage and cookie. Weaving will resume at 1:00 and the event concludes at 5 p.m.

There will be a “show and share” table as well as an informational table at this event, so feel free to bring any information you feel basket weavers might be interested in or something to show off!
